“I really enjoy having the opportunity to build rockets entirely from scratch from the ground up,” says Charlie Garcia ’19, who was a member of the MIT Rocket Team as an undergraduate. “We launch our own rockets under our own clearance from the FAA. We have become one of the highest-flying colleges in the country, trying to become the first college in space.”
