There are many different ways to support students at MIT—today and in the future, including outright gifts at any level, a named endowed scholarship, fellowship, or program fund, and planned gifts such as bequests, annuities, and charitable remainder trusts.

Athletics
The Department of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation (DAPER) offers MIT students world-class facilities and instruction for an extraordinary range of athletic endeavors, including 33 varsity teams and 25 unique types of instruction. Key priorities include a renovation of the Sports Performance Center and an opportunity to endow the sailing head coach position.

Stratton Student Center
A renewal of the Student Center (W20) is improving design, infrastructure, and flexible-use space in this hub of student life. A Wellbeing Lab is the anchor for MIT’s well-being initiatives, and new dance studios and multipurpose space will be featured on the fourth floor. Opened in fall 2023.

Constructed in 1924, East Campus, with its distinctive parallel structures and expansive courtyard, is undergoing an historic renovation reflecting the input of students, faculty, and alumni. Construction expected 2023–2025.
